Netflix’s Original Series, Master of None follows the tale of an aspiring actor, Dev, living out of a studio apartment somewhere in New York City. Dev struggles to discover what he really wants out of his relationships, his friends, his profession, and even himself. Being young and single in the city that never sleeps, the show depicts Dev’s dating life and the hardships that come and go with forming relationships. Most notably, Master of None tackles important societal issues such as misogyny, marriage, racism, and sexual assault using its unique storytelling, reminiscent of the kind seen in Italian Cinema. With its charming comedy, and poetic writing, Master Of None is a Netflix must-watch and totally binge-worthy.
