I never understood 

Love songs or cute poems.

My heart had never  

found a home in someone else’s. 

I haven’t thought about sharing a future with someone or being with someone for a long time. 

I find myself sobbing over the beauty held in a song lyric.  

I find a smile creeping across my face when I read love poems

because they make me think of you. 

I find myself daydreaming about weddings and “somedays”

A future with just the two of us.
